A riotous evening of sideshow & circus, profoundly moving contemporary dance and sensational live music. Created and performed by the kids, parents and staff of Coledale Public School.
Saturday November 30th, 5.30pm-8.30pm
The experiences that await you at Unexpected Magic will fill you with wonder.
Immerse yourself in an hour of fairground food and fun:
• acrobatic displays
• contemporary clown acts
• ‘human oddities’
• food stalls
• outlandish roving characters
• fairground attractions like the ‘Circus Corner’, the ‘Singing Tree’ and the ‘Opera Singer in a Bathtub’.
Then take in the moving performance by the kids of Coledale School, including:
• A dance theatre piece inspired by the stories and living history of the Dharawal (led by Bangarra Dance choreographer Frances Rings).
• Two breathtaking ballroom dance works (choreographed by Donna Shingler, International Ballroom Dance Champion).
• …and a few little surprises.
Topped off with some fantastic live music.
